This is yet another retelling of a classic story. Just like “Pretty Peaches”, it features a yound woman and her sexual adventures. This version is a bit different. Instead of being a complete ditz like Peaches, Candy is presented as a naive young woman who loves sex.
Candy lives with her puritanical father who keeps her well away from any male company. She rather fancies male company, in particular the handsome Mexican gardener whom she fantasizes about while masturbating. When puritanical father goes out one day, she takes the opportunity to turn fantasy into reality and lures Manuel into her bedroom. Sadly for Candy though, actual sex with a hairy, sweaty Mexican gardener who speaks no English and is trying to get it done quickly before dad comes home, does not live up to her romantic fantasies. Even less so when dad does come home and attacks Manuel with a chair. Manuel, executes a nifty sidesteps and dad trips and ends up on hospital with a fractured skull and amnesia.
Later in the hospital, Candy is joined at her father’s bedside by her father’s identical twin brother Uncle Dick and his wife, her horny Aunt Kraven. During an attempt to have sex with her father’s twin brother in the bed next to her unconcious father, they are interupted by a nurse and in the ensuing confusion, Uncle Dick ends up in the hospital bed and amnesiac father wanders off and disappears.
Candy, devastated by the loss of her father (not dead… just lost… they looked everywhere and couldn’t find him) then travels the country to find herself. After further erotic adventures with a masturbation doctor, a groping gynecologist, the enormously schlonged John Holmes and a few others, she ends up in a sex ashram run by Graham Hollander who wants to “raise her to the next level of consciousness” which naturally involves having sex with her.
And the movie ends with the same kind of “shock” ending, with her father rediscovering his daughter in flagrante delicto on his cock.
And while it lacks the enema scene of Peaches, it has it’s own unusual sex sceen rarely seen in mainstream porn movies. A brief sceen of men giving oral sex to other men.
It is interesting to note that before this movie, Carol Connors was mostly known as the second nurse in the classic “Deep Throat”. She is also the mother of American Beauty star Thora Birch.

Candy Goes To Hollywood (AKA: Gail Palmer’s Candy Goes to Hollywood)

Candy comes to Hollywood and is immediately pounced on by a talent agent. She quickly becomes the toast of Tinseltown. Sex-filled and action-packed!
Candy Christian steps off the bus from Michigan and is dazzled by the glamor of Hollywood. Johnny Dooropener sees Candy standing at the corner of Hollywood and Vine, with an awestruck look on her face, and introduces himself as a talent agent. Convincing Candy that he can make her a big star, Johnny takes to his office, located in a sleazy stripjoint.
Johnny immediately calls his friend Chuck Bareass and books Candy on The Dong Show. He then convinces Candy that he can make her a great singer using hypnosis. Once Candy is under, Johnny tells her she’s licking a vanilla ice cream cone when she’s actually licking something else.
That night, Candy appears on The Dong Show and is chosen as the winner by Rex P., Jamie Close and J. P. Organ. Backstage, Chuck Bareass personally delivers Candy’s prize, even letting her spend the night at his place.
The next day, Johnny takes Candy’s prize money and sends her to see Johnny Farson of The Last Night Show.
Hitchhiking to Burbank, Candy is picked up by Samantha, who offers to help Candy but only ends up getting her drunk and helping her out of her clothes.
In Burbank, Candy ‘rehearses’ with Johnny Farson but is bumped from the show due to lack of time. Farson makes it up to Candy by letting her spend the night at his penthouse. Next, Johnny sends Candy to do ‘audition’ for movie producer Samuel Goldicker. Goldicker videotapes Candy’s screen test as they act out a ‘love’ scene from his movie.
Johnny picks Candy up and, after getting his commission from Goldicker, he sends Candy to get her hair done for the pick Hollywood party he’s taking her to. Meanwhile, he ‘auditions’ another young woman in his office, waking her with a clap of his hands and sending her on her way when Candy arrives.
That night, Candy discovers that ‘party’ is actually a wild orgy involving all the big Hollywood names, like Sarah Dawcett. When Candy goes to powder her nose, she encounters three other ‘actresses’ who were promised the same part by Goldicker. While the three women ‘have a talk’ with their agent, Johnny Dooropener, candy quietly slips away, deciding to try her luck in Washington.
This is a sequel to the movie “Erotic Adventures of Candy”, and once again is full of interesting little tidbits. Her most well known mainstream “exposure” came as the girl who frequently introduced Chuck Barris on “The Gong Show”. And one of the actresses who appears in this movie is no other then Desiree Cousteau, who played a similar character in the previously uploaded “Pretty Peaches”.
And the girl who is so tallented with the ping-pong balls is none other then Wendy O. Williams, the lead singer of the punk group Plasmatics.
And on an unrelated note, The Gong Show also had one of the dirtiest acts ever seen on commercial TV.
